The evening's winner of the People's Choice and Outstanding Dish Awards, as well as one of my personal favorites, was the Duck Bratwurst on House-Made Caraway Bun with Cranberry and Stone Ground Mustard Glaze (below).

One of my favorite treasures in theNapa Valley can be found on Friday mornings in the St. Helena High School parking lot. Chefs, locals, and foodies flock there early to get their fresh-baked chocolate pastries and just-picked heirloom tomatoes. It is truly a food lover's paradise.
The dessert image below earned an honorable mention from Food & Wine Magazine's online food photography contest. Don't they look delicious? With my focus on getting the right angle for the shot, I never got around to tasting one!
